About Me

About Me

Hello, I'm Yusuke Tsuzuku (都竹雄介). A 2nd-year master student studying machine learning and computer science.

General interest: Noise stability of neural nets, Generalization of deep learning, Large scale optimization, Computer architecture
Languages: Python, C/C++, Rust

2018 - present

Master at the University of Tokyo

I major in computer science. My research area is machine learning, especially concerning fundamental theory and understanding of deep learning.

2014 - 2018

Bachelor at the University of Tokyo

I majored in Information Science. I received learning award, which elects only one student from the Information Science department.

2011 - 2014

Gifu High School

I was a top student in most exams. I won the 1st place in a science competition in Japan.

Pushing forward the state-of-the-art of deep learning analysis.
Worked for a machine learning-oriented project for improved google search Q&A system.
Unofficial internship. Studied statistical learning theory for deep learning.
Assisted machine learning class for first-year students.
Continued internship project and wrote a paper, which was accepted to ICLR 2018 workshop.
Studied gradient compression for bandwidth reduction in distributed deep learning.
